Hello, I found this 1971 Lincoln Cent that weighs only 1.70 grams. Any opinions? Why would it be so thin and under weight?

I agree with john1.

The acid dissolves the copper across the entire surface of the coin at an even rate. Both faces and the edge of the coin so it will also be smaller in diameter than a normal coin.

Lack of rims is one of the first sign of an acid coin.
This alone can reduce the weight.
