I tried to get the best photos . I am not so much concerned with the technical grade but would these couple scratches detail this coin? I will admit I can not see them without magnification. Mostly because these coins are so small. Even with the 5x magnification I had at the coin shop haha. I noticed them with 10x magnification under bright light at home. The big one over the cheek is toned over there is a small one to the right that looks fresher. It is super small but so is the coin and I just do not know how they grade these. There is a few raised die polishing lines it looks like as well and also some chatter from being in the holder. I can return it but its such a pretty coin besides that . Has lots of clashing and some really pretty toning in hand. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully my new I phone I am getting this week will take better pics then my old one haha. yeah its funny though looking on ebay quite a few appear to have prominent scratches. Here is another 1866 Graded MS-61 By NGC with a similar but deeper large scratch on the face

I've got a gorgeous VAM 3 1901 Doubled Reverse or "Shifted Eagle" in a details holder from SEGS AU53 - Pin Scratch, I'd love to get in a straight holder and sell it for close to ask or at least over $2100 It's a beauty of a coin and I can hardly see the scratch - but I know it's there, you have to really look hard and tilt the coin just right.

That is a fairly strong die clash as well on both obverse and reverse but I understand that clashes are numerous with this series.

i dont collect this series but have purchased a couple just to have them. since I want the best example I can get afford my first parameter is full columns on the reverse. this one isn't even close which is kind of normal due to strike issues with the series but there are fully struck examples out there. I dont think the scratches are bad enough to details the coin. the lighting makes it difficult to assess the surfaces as its making the coin look dull and flat. also you should always take the coin out of its holder when possible.
AU58 or MS60. I'm leaning to the AU side without better photos

Yes photos are horrible. Coin has amazing toning which I did not capture that is why I grabbed it . Has nice rainbow album toning on the reverse. I wasn't sure it I was going to sell it so have not removed it yet yet
