New at this, help with Wheat penny back looks good. Front has almost no image weight is 2.9 looks as if the copper coating is running down the top. Thanks

@star, first welcome to CCF. Second, it looks to me like the obverse of this coin has been sanded down—not a mint error.

The lack of a rim on the Obverse indicates it is just damage.
Sanding of the surface accounts for the lighter weight.

Agree, post-strike damage. May have been intentionally 'sanded down', or may have suffered from intense lateral abrasion in an 'industrial' setting, like being face down on a smooth concrete shop floor, trapped under a heavy object, and slid around for a time as the heavy object was occasionally moved. In either instance, the coin appears to have served in circulation for many, many years after the abrasion/sanding event. Cool find.
