Looks like a lamination that has partially peeled off.
Unusual to see a lam on both sides.

As mentioned, laminations are rare to be found on both sides, but your appears to have them. And a agree with Dearborn that the reverse top of coin seems to be damaged, post mint. overall, a nice find!

Looks like a struck-through error on the obverse, with fragment missing from the first and third picture. Exactly what rammed into it remains a mystery. Second last picture of the reverse has a retained lamination. There might be some damage as other mentioned.
I did like to see a picture tilted at an angle of the missing area.

Not a strike thru. That piece missing on the coat is the missing lamination.
