1984 D with what I believe is an RPM. Not a exact match but close with a vertical bar showing thru the primary mint mark and a slight east bulge of the secondary MM. Regards

With whom are you attributing this to? VV doesn't list a 004, nor Wexlers. Is there a site I'm not aware of yet?

I'm not sure, these are tough where they are close repunchings and dealing with plating issues too. I think your mm may be further south though. Did you find any markers?

Dearborn Coppercoins.com has the information. You will find a section that includes 1984 D mint marks. One of my favorite sites to search for varietys. Regards

Makecents look at my second picture, pictures don't mislead. the description of 1984 D MM 004 was the closest one I could find. So I went with it!
