Hello all,

Thought to share the major 1846 varieties that I've found. Any comments, gradings, history lessons, or other feedback is always welcomed!

1. Small Date: N9? d=27.6mm; w=10.74g; $36 purchase price

I'll say EF-40/45 (possible ED?), EF details (cleaned), and VF details (cleaned, scratched and damaged), respectively.

Nice set! I have the small and large dates, but lack the medium date. I wasn't sure what a medium date looked like, so I am glad to see good photos of one. I agree with the others, it is educational to see these all side by side.

P.S. Can't beat a large cent for $5!

Nice scores. I'd have to line the pictures up side by side to see the difference between large and medium.
