1979 Lincoln Penny - Die Crack? - Coin Community Forum

FirefighterA New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 11/30/2021 8:49 pm Hi, I was wondering if I could please get the communities opinion on this coin please? There is a strange crack between the "E" in UNITED and the Lincoln Memorial on the reverse. I thought it might be a Die crack at first, but then I thought that die cracks left raised areas on the coin. This seems to be indented. It also seems to go into the building slightly, but the building doesn't look damaged. What do y'all think? I'm still pretty new to the hobby and looking to learn.
