Is This The 1943 Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Or Just A Regular 43 Steel Penny?

As mentioned, your coin has been replated therefore damaged. Stay away from ultra shiny steel cents, the true colour should be a dullish grey. I agree with the DDD diagnosis.
