Just came across another ( maybe DDR? ) for 2020D.

A. Found back in July.
B. Found the other day.
Both coins have ( DDR ?) on tops of verticals 5,7,9,11.
Both have the same markers on reverse.
Left top of shield has a crack. Left of vertical 1 have the same
( ? feeder finger or gouge ?).

Thank you for opinions/comments. Rob.

Well it certainly looks like the same die struck both coins. as for the doubled? I'm not sure, only because I'm not that familiar with shield cent doubling.
If it is, then GREAT Find!

Dearborn. Check out VarietyVista DDR for Shields. They have it for the 21D but with a ? mark.
I myself dislike the shield coins. At first I wouldn't even check them. Just sorted them out n sent them back. But now there's to many so I'm sorta forced to look.
My opinion the quality of the Shields have been poor but lately they're worse than ever.

I check VarietyVista to see if it's been removed or made DDR for sure.
Until then I'll keep burning time and setting what I've found to the side.

If it is, it's too subtle for these old eyes to see.

I have seen a few of these in hand and feel they are not DDR's. At certain angles under a loupe it looks like these marks disappear. If they are DDR's they are very minor.

I don't like shield cents, I use to skip over them, but now theres so many of them, I take a quick look threw them, not any longer than I have too. Would have to have some really good doubling or another major error to gain my attention for saving any.

I agree about (if) these are DDRs or not.
If they are they'll probably be worth one cent. I've only searched half a box of 2021's and probably have 100+ of all the different issues.
It's true about the ability seeing them. There's a couple/very few that you can see without spinning the coin for different lighting. But you do need magnification like other errors.

I'm curious about these 2020Ds with the same issues.

Looks good to me the doubling on top the bottom of the banner there. With what I seen on variety vista looks like that similar looking doubling. Hoesntly I don't think these should be considered as doubled dies they are so hard to capture and see. I've got two other ones.
Also someone found the same doubled die banner on variety vista with a die crack on top the shield then one that had a die chip either way you think of the die states there one should have both and it doesn't? So that makes me think it's not a doubled die and something else
