so I had found this 1992 Lincoln Cent a while ago and I just came across it is this a variety or an error what is this called thank you CCF.

Looks like DDD to me.

Note the flattening? That is Machine Doubling. DDD affects the fields, not the devices.

Note the distortion of the devices? On your coin that is push doubling. On a doubled die, the devices will be affected in the centers of the devices and not out the outside edges of the devices. (that is where Machine Doubling happens)

Reverse is showing split plating, not a DDR:
