Doubled eye Lincoln cents aren't super popular, as it is after all a fairly minor thing. But this one is pretty strong, and from what I've found, extremely rare. I've only ever seen one other, and that's a cleaned example I have in my collection. It's only listed on Wexler's site, and not on either VV or CC. Anyway, it's one to keep an "eye" out for as always nice to find a rare one even if it's a minor thing. 1920-S Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - WDDO-001    |

Nice find.
Man, that is a strong doubled eye.
Imagine what it looks like on an early die state and less circulated coin.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Nice "eye" there TB. I can't find these since all the little hits make me think they are also double eyes. Then I waste to much time trying to find markers.

Thanks folks! Would eventually like to find a better condition one and submit to CONECA, but it's strong enough that even described from a well-circulated coin it would probably be good enough since nothing else like it for this date.
