I like the old school coins. Would like to know your thoughts of this one. What do you think? Mint state?

VF-35 Details Damaged. The coin is bent and has been punched on the obverse.

@jdf, the trimes are a very cool series, but this one has some pretty severe damage that would likely push me away. You should be able to do better than this one.

I like 3¢ silvers too - for the right price I'd have no problem adding that one to my collection even with the stated damage

Does it seem to me or does 3 cents have problems with saving? They are mostly bent, leaky and rusty.

Quote: Does it seem to me or does 3 cents have problems with saving? They are mostly bent, leaky and rusty. They are thin, tiny and soft. The earlier ones, which use a copper-rich alloy, usually held up a little better. But yes, in general this coin is often found bent. It won't "rust", however, as it has no iron. Well, I suppose some Chinese fakes do.
