Good evening,8

I found a 1976 Bi-centennial Quarter today while doing laundry. I noticed immediately that there wasn't a mint mark anywhere to be found. Is the missing mint mark common for this Bi-Centennial quarter?

to the forum. The Mint produced these Bicentennials from both the Philadelphia and Denver mints. The Philly mint did not place a P on the obverse. The Denver mint did put a D on the obverse. The Denver mint mark will be to the right of George's hair at about the 5 o'clock position. Your coin is a normal Philly minted Quarter.

Normal for the Philly quarters until 1980.

There were clad coins from all three mints:

Also there were silver quarters on the proof coins

I agree with all of the above. Please crop your photos to the edge of your coin, and always show us both sides of your coin. Thanks.
