Here is a 1964 Roosevelt dime I received from the mail. It came inside a white square with a window to view both sides of the coin. I really don't understand why it came this way. Can anyone look at these pictures and help me understand why it was separated from all the other coins I received?

to CCF. Not knowing what other coins you received, I would say the previous owner may have isolated this one particular Dime because it has silver content. Dimes struck from 1946 to 1964 contained silver. I'm not seeing anything else in your photos that would throw up a flag other than it being a normal 1964 Rosevelt Dime. Just a nice looking Dime IMO.

Looks like some type of inclusion over the E in Liberty. At first look the width of the date and some lettering looked like possible Doubled Die, but your close up photos cleared that up, though does look like some minor Machine Doubling. IGWT looks promising still, mainly G O D, and the first S of States on reverse, didn't see close ups of either of those areas. If nothing there though, still looks like a nice sized inclusion.

Thank you for taking a look. I thought I got all the pictures on the post, but looks like I may have missed a few. Sorry, still learning the ropes.

to CCF. Just a FYI: a few too many photos and we do not encourage posting photos of your scopes monitor, please use a memory card.
