Hey Community! I have been away for a while, but very busy numismaticly. Thanks in advance for any comments, incite, or knowledge pertaining to this post. Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday Season !

I don't see a listing for 2021 Lincoln Shield DDO. Any members here have optics or anything sufficient regarding varieties with this coin. Thanks !

In looking more at your whole coin pictures, I am not seeing any doubling. I am inclined to think your closeups are producing a lot of glare and reflection making it appear there are notches. These shiny Shield Cents are a pain to photograph for sure.

Looks like light induced doubling and a plating issue to me. You need to filter your light source.

I Double that ;) on the light issue. Any Zinc or modern copper BU Lincoln is the most difficult to image. I can make some better attempts with the scope , but unfortunately it is borderline unusable. As the lights flicker constantly and focus has been getting more and more challenging. Just doing my best to work with what I've got.

But to add to that- viewing through the Loupe shows a different story. Back to the drawling board I guess. Thanks gents

There may some Die Deterioration Doubling underway. The 4th photo above (from the top) seems to suggest that.
