I am inclined to think your closeups are producing a lot of glare and reflection making it appear there are notches. These shiny Shield Cents are a pain to photograph for sure. RarelyCoincident New Member United States 19 Posts	Posted 12/15/2021 09:16 am I Double that ;) on the light issue. Any Zinc or modern copper BU Lincoln is the most difficult to image. I can make some better attempts with the scope , but unfortunately it is borderline unusable. As the lights flicker constantly and focus has been getting more and more challenging.
