I found this today while doing a roll at the job,

However I have never Graded coins so I dont know what it would rate.

Overall looks nice let me knowx

Ill give it a shot....without the dings along the rim on the reverse, I would give it only a F12...just too much wear on the hair.20 cents value.

Because of the dings, I'm going to knock it down to a VG8,(which may be generious) which is only worth face value.
I am dying to see how I made out, once the more experianced graders comment.

It's tough to grade GVI coins from pics, but the obverse looks like a VF to me, although the rim dings on the reverse are pretty heavy, and there appears to be a tool mark. I agree--it's a face value coin.
Fun to find in circulation all the same.

I'm actually kind of curious if that spot on the right field on the obverse is a strike through or something...

Hi, ballain, It's always nice to find an old coin in a roll. but I'm afraid yours has too many dings and digs to really be worth much

VF, if not for the dings, drops down to G-6
