I have a beautiful coin from Canada 1 cent 1859, please help for grading - probably VF or gVF...?

This is a toughie from photos, because the little details are so important.
That said, I think I see high points of wear on the portrait so I might guess AU50-55.

A nice "plain 9" variety of the 1859 Canada one cent.

I would also agree with an AU grade, nice coin.

AU 50-55 is over or lower to XF please? Because in my catalog there is price for EF $7... no price for AU...

Hi, bobo, to the Forum.

what you have is a common bronze Canada cent , narrow or plain 9

To answer your question, AU condition is better than EF, yours is approx AU-50, which in the Canadian Coin News, value $20.00, so not to bad at all.

Actually, I have a heritage of the large box with coins (probably 5-6000), a large part are very nice - high grade coins from worldwide, and even I do not have time to sort them in new albums ...

This is Australia 1945 penny, Ireland 1935 penny and South Africa sixpence 1926
Again AU probably for australian penny (with full lustre looks but with small dents on the edge)?
