I really like this one, but can't seem to really narrow down the date range much based on what I can see. It is 3.12g so could be anything pre-1983 but I just think I can see a little bit of memorial detail on the brockage side of the strike. Obverse is an awesome stretch strike, making the struck portion extremely thin. But there was apparently another coin or planchet partly in the chamber as well, so when the strike occurred they butted up against each other creating the more-or-less flat edge of the struck portion. This is a chain strike, and pretty typical of what they look like. The reverse shows very nice, incuse, brockage. The first reverse image is oriented correctly in relation to the obverse strike, but since that makes the brockage nearly upside down I am adding a third image with the brockage oriented up for ease of understanding the coin. But by then essentially having the lighting upside down, the brockage may not look incuse, but it is. No date Lincoln Cent (copper) mint error - off center stretch strike, chain strike w/brockage

Congrats on another great error. That ID is quite a mouthful and glad you described it.
That stetchinnnnggg is quite nice.

Great find TB. Are the parallel bumps behind Lincoln's head on the obverse Feeder Finger Damage to the die?

Sheldius, believe it or not the parallel bumps behind Lincoln's head are IN GOD W. Yup, that's what they look like all stretched out, and one of the reason's I really like this coin.
Dearborn, don't worry, I'm not giving up my doubled dies and am still finding them every night, but I did hit up an error collector who let me buy a fair number of coins from his collection. And...I still haven't got to the best ones. There are a couple I still need to look over and come to understand and then photograph. But I will post some more tonight.

That's amazing! Never seen brockage on an off center before.

Sent Mike a note on this one also. Wondered if the reverse was struck through a die cap? Will wait to see on this one also What he calls it.

Tropicalbats is once again correct in his assessment of this coin. An off-center uniface stretch strike and chain strike with an aligned first-strike brockage of the obverse design on the reverse face.

That's a real beauty! I really enjoy the stretching of IN GOD on the obverse.
