Apparently the Dutch weren't very impressed back in the day. They had been exploring the West Coast of Australia for close to 200 years, landed there a couple of times, but because that part is desert with almost no water, they deemed it unworthy for colonizing and so never claimed it.
Well some stayed long enough to play nooky with the local inhabitants. Genetic analysis has found traces of dutch DNA in First Australians from that neck of the woods.

I'll try sending again. I sent by email from the CCF email feature.
EDIT: Email sent again. Hopefully it went through.

Good luck to Team USA. I'm not fussed who wins, it's all about the fun we had along the way.

I'm still working on it and trying to decide how much I should send. I'd probably end up sending several separate emails because otherwise there's a danger of sending a few minutes (or hours) too late and not qualifying.
(Of course chances are I'd send Spence out of last place even if I do qualify.)

Spence - you are still way ahead of the people who did not enter, and you did it solo, you deserve a special prize for tenacity.
You are a worthy rival - Dennis Conner you are not.
I agree the contest was a fun way of discovering world coins.

@David Graham, wondering if you received my email with my "solves"?
If not, I'm not sure what's happening. I may have to post to the forum as a reply for the world to see. Since you already have the other entries that may be the best way, since it won't spoil their fun.
I'm with greasy fingers though, since Spence will be our best chance

Currently actively working. Will PM my answers in... an hour-ish. Probably will be too late, for some reason I thought OP was American and I had the entire night left.
EDIT: now halfway through.

Entry sent. Was actually faster than I expected, not a lot of coins I could quickly ID in the second half.

I'm hoping my meager entry made it through to him the last time I sent it.

Quote: I'm hoping my meager entry made it through to him the last time I sent it. On my own end I'm hoping mine (probably even more meager) arrived before the deadline. I think I sent it at something like... 23:57 Perth time? (Apparently only 23:53, which was still darn close.)
