Nice coin but IMO it's seen a little bit of circulation. There's flat spots most notable on the horn, shoulder, and hair just above the shoulder on the buffalo. There's also signs of circulation on the braid and hair of the Indian. It also appears to lack luster.
I would be at AU-58 for it.

A nicely struck example that has seen some light circulation, obvious signs of wear at the high points. I'm also at AU55.

I don't see any wear or anything here that would make it such a low grade as some seem to think. This forum seems to have alot of opinionated individuals. At least one sees what this is and can appreciate a nice coin when they see it rather than being the "Karen's" of the bunch. Makes me wonder how many beautiful coins they've seen or had and just thru them away because of these negative opinions. I see a coin that has full details no wear at all full luster full raised mound that was later changed due to it wearing poorly this one has no flat spots. It still has every detail of the original printed buffalo every hair the whole face it's all there. Full feather and hair detail on the obverse. I guess that's hard for some to accept. The topic itself says, does anyone know anything about this coin. Hoping to strike an intellectual and interesting conversation. I didn't ask for judgement of anything and get that nonsense anyhow. Not one person has mentioned anything about the topic I posted. It's obviously junk silver it's only 109 years old and never been exposed to any elements to make it have the tarnish or toning whatever you want to call it. Apparently people haven't seen untarnished coins here. I get this reaction alot. Like it's not sharper and clearer than the picture of the coin on top that sold for 79,000. It looks too clean and shiny to be anything more than some low grade. There's not a nick or scratch even on the edge of this beautiful coin that has obviously been in a collection for over 100 yrs stored properly. I would suggest having some knowledge on grading before you go talking down about every perfectly preserved coin you come across.i could understand somewhat if I asked what grade you think this is. Which I didn't. The negative nonsense must be a way to start arguments. I'll just ignore those. I'm here to learn from the people that actually have the knowledge to talk to me about coins. I thought that's why we were all here. The last comment was the only real info I've seen on here. We don't need all the others. I'll be nice here and politely ask those that have negative things to say about every single thing I post, to kindly not even look at my posts and if you cant keep from looking, just don't comment. I don't want the BS. I'm not here for entertainment I'm here for knowledge. If you can't contribute than don't. Red raider you are excluded from these comments. It seems you understand what you are seeing here and I appreciate the knowledge. I didn't realize this forum would have those other people on here. But it is what it is. They seem to be everywhere these days. Thanks for the input. I agree with you completely. We will soon see and I am fully confident that this flawless coin will get a much higher grade than some au55. I'm guessing more like a 69ish rating but that's because I have it in my hand and can't get the true beauty of it on camera. This will be graded in the near future and will be shown here.

A predictable reply from an inexperienced newbie who thinks he's struck gold. Perhaps wasting $40+ in grading fees will be a first step in learning how to grade. No better than AU-55. Go for it and keep us informed.

So my take-away from the last post by the OP is don't post any comment if it doesn't agree with his own. No problem. Ignore the troll.

LOL.....I was being way sarcastic!!! This coin is not an MS68 and is not worth $100k. Probably in line with an AU55 as others have said might go a little higher, but not all the way to MS68+. I really think you need to spend the money and send these in to get them graded. I tell you what.....if the Buffalo nickel you posted grades MS68+, I will pay you $100K for it. It grades MS68+, you get $100K, no questions asked. This represents a $21K premium over any other MS68+ that has ever sold. You think you have the top population coins for everything you have posted. Not really reality here. You say you want objective input, but when no one agrees with you, we are all stupid. You say you have the nicest coins known for these dates, when no one agrees with you, we are all stupid. You really have a lot to learn here and this forum can be very helpful when used the right way. Don't bash people because they tell you what they see. They have way more experience than you, I guarantee it. Something new collectors have problems with (I had the same ones when I started) is understanding that there is a HUGE difference between an MS64 and an MS68 coin. Case in point, an MS64 Type 1 Buffalo nickel as you have posted has a price guide of $100. An MS68 has a guide price of $10,000. Both are mint state, but there huge differences between them.

I call it the "I struck it rich" syndrome. You have a coin, you go find the most valuable one possible, then convince yourself that yours is equal to or better than that one, and no one can dissuade you. I don't know what the cure for it is; we can try to be kind and helpful but that never seems to work.

Wow, just wow . Clearly no reasoning with this one. This has to be a troll? Right? Or, with all due respect, is ignorance really bliss? I'll pm you for advice on my next Buffalo nickel purchase, need an MS68 1924-S.

Why you all being mean to Prestigeww?
Both coins posted (this MS69 at least Bison nickel) and the 1942 Pretty Lady walking in the sunshine. Like I said to him, these coins are killer and NEED to be certified. I for one wholly support you getting these graded. I recommend you use the Express Priority service for PCGS as they are the best and will grade your coins with the killer grades they deserve.
Please come after you get the killer grades and tell all the "karens" your grade. I think they will agree!!

People................can't we all just get along?
The heck with all the other good advice (all of it well thought out and correct.) Just look at the hip and compare the two coins.
See the flat wear on the hip? It's kinda plain.
I like your coin. It has a superior strike and a fully struck top feather.
.............But it's NOT uncirculated.
Sorry.
