I reported a Canadian fake by this seller that has been taken down, I'm a novice when it comes to most world coins but many of these seem to look like fakes, it took me a bit to find the sellers profile and maybe some of the coins are authentic but many of them have the same sort of finish etc. I'd hate to see anyone anywhere tricked into buying a fake coin so here is the sellers current list. UK coins US coins etc. If fake please help try and get them taken down.if real then ignore this post.

They are definitely fakes. Russia and China are two countries I completely avoided on ebay.

Wait and see what other gentlemen and ladies here have to say. I think two persons will chime in and help you in taking these sales down.

Thank you for helping out so that people could have a safe experience on ebay.

IMHO - I say let the fakes stay. 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy' and 'A fool and their money are soon parted' are two phrases that come to mind.
Sadly, you will end up in an early grave trying to take down all the ebay listings for fake coins. Then there's Scumtree, Facebook marketplace, Craigslist etc. If a person loses 30-40 bucks on a fake it's a cheap lesson on being cautious when purchasing coins online. If a person is prepared to spend 100s or 1000s of dollars without doing due diligence on the purchase then what do they expect.
Besides, Paypal should cover their loss. If they are stupid enough to pay via Bitcoin, bank transfer, Western Union or the like then what more can be said.

@David Graham, I disagree, if someone can stop one listing it can make a difference at least for ebay. And if I saw 10 rare coins and checked there prices and saw they were with 10-100 times the price I would jump on it with fair that ebay which other then trusted auction houses is the best online sit to buy and sell coins(non locally). recirculating fake coins is never a good thing. A lesson I was taught here early off.

But posting this around the Christmas season kinda gets to me more. Family memberS or friends may see it who know nothing and then look up the price without doing research on the coin.

Forgot to add a thanks to you bobby131313.

Scammers operate 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. I would bet many aren't christian so why should they care about scamming people over Christmas? Besides, there are birthdays and other celebrations happening throughout the year. And it doesn't matter whether you are buying for yourself or a friend, do your research or get burnt. Coins, cars, purses.. you name it, scammers will be selling it. It's a fact of life unfortunately.
