Not sure if this is a DDR, but I know that the 2014 JFM is thickened.

What does the EPU devices look like? The initial on this one looks more possible. But closeups are not as good as the full shots of the devices.
IE: 2013 DDR: Side by sides
Make the images cropped exactly the same on the images, then you can see the differences in size easier:
