I do not know how the images could be more descriptive. A mountain range on the obverse running from SSW to NNE that does not affect the rims, with a corresponding effect on the reverse that also does not affect the rims. Clearly the strike shows more pressure on one side than the other but not warped. I bet it lays flay on either side yet one side is thicker. The warping that was referred to is descriptive of the mountain range that is evident on both sides. Not that the coin itself is warped. I see no evidence of that in the images provided. How many angles must one observe?
This is an interesting anomaly and the OP deserves a reasonable explanation from those of you more knowledable in these matters than themselves.
If you have no reasonable explanation, just say so. Do not blame it on poor images and and misinterpreted terminol
I suggest the OP send the coin to another member of the forum that is more knowledgeable. Not a TPG as most suggest. Could they not send it to a fellow member for an in hand opinion for the cost of postage and get a definitive opinion rather than a series of criticism and speculation.
I have noticed that many new members have been responded to with condescending and sarcastic responses to the point of being made fun of for their obvious lack of understanding.. How much are you helping when you respond in this manner.
It looks like an interesting coin to me. But most of you tend to think it is warped, heated, melted. Well why are the rims Intact? Do the edge images look bent, warped, or just thicker on one side than the other? You either know what is going on or you don't. If you are not so sure than say so.
