@peace, from the pics you have provided, is looks like the front is wrinkled but the back is flat (normal). Is that true?

Not quite sure exactly how it happened but I am sure it couldn't happen during the striking of the coin so it is some form of PMD

The back is pretty flat, the picture doesn't do it justice , its very strange but definatly not a after mint issue., The coin is brown with little amount of tiny dings n dents . I am baffled

So the reverse is 'pretty flat'--knowing how flat (or not) could provide a clue. Please post a few photos taken at a low angle to the coin--not vertical, but closer to the horizontal. Thanks.

As JimmyD said, nothing similar could have happened at the mint, so however the damage occured, it was done post mint. No premium.

Okay well I guess someone maybe steam rolled it or melted it or it rose to the occasion one day. My fathers been collecting pennies for 40 years and I am going through roll after roll after roll and jar after jar after jar now for almost a year maybe my minds playing tricks on me.I am not looking for a premium just trying to understand my dads obsession with these error coins .What is Premium even mean when it comes to all these coins anyways. I only recently just figured out what double die meant after finding a book of them.Im trying to walk in his penny loafers learning what all these pennies in books with strange titles mean..Thanks for your input. it was in a book of about 40 pennies titled mint errors unclassified 1950-1979 ..Ill chuck it into the coinstar pile.

Ive taken tons of picture trying to get a system down, yes the first post has the wrong one I noticed that when I posted the second set. That was the back of the one in a set of error weird coins I took....In my photos it goes front pic back pic front pic back pic and so on...I went one back instead of one forward...Guilty! So now that you see the right back with the correct front, Whatcha think now? I can make a video n hold it for anyone concerned about my representation... Thankyou quality control

OK, your very first picture of the obverse (front or heads side) is perfect. that is what we would like to see of your reverse side. can you duplicate that first image but with the coin flipped over to show the reverse?
