 to the CCF I would say that is damage as opposed to a Struck Through. You can see on the reverse where the marks are showing through and the zinc core showing under the copper layer. Just a damaged cent worth one cent.

Agree. Given the appearance of the reverse, I'm thinking post-strike damage.

Could be the start of a drill bit. There are many who will drill holes in coins and use them as jewelry. I have 2 that I have found, one in the 20's and on in the 40's
