I thought this was a parking lot penny, but I notice the rim irons in a zig zag shape exposing the planchette? I don't know. More pics after work

Whatever caused it, it is damage. A coin struck in collar cannot be out of round.

The damage has removed any attribution on any scale... scrap copper.

For this coin it is a no way to attribute something else then "Metal scrap"
