I wanted to do something a tad more special for my 1000th post! For the years end, this is a show and tell of my current status of my early Indian cents up to 1879. I also have 1886-1887... (Just the obverses at the moment) I know I need several upgrades to get to where I want to be, so some of these are hole-fillers at the moment. Now I have all of the rest of the Indian cents except for the 1909-S. I have the 1860 pointed bust, and the 2 1865s both fancy and plain 5s, the 1864L is cleaned so its detailed. Nice set you have there, a pretty obvious RPD in the 1864 L!

Oh yeah, thanks redraider, I knew of the cool rpd in the 1864L! Also better mention the 1875 might have questionable color perhaps to my eyes.

Congrats on the quadruple digits! Very nice set as well! Each coin has its own unique story to tell.

My best deal of this early set was the 1872 I bought several years ago; I got lucky as this was a coin dealer at an antique mall, and he had this stack of random coins in 2x2s all priced and ready to sell. This was labeled as an 1878 (now the dates look kinda different sized), since the 2 in the date took a hit and kinda looked like an 8. I snagged it for 20 dollars.
