I found this 1995 D Lincoln Penny in great shape! I'm still a bit confused on identifying the DD's! But, is the "5" in the date and the MM D doubled? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Nice coin. In order to establish an DDO is need focus photo for this region of the coin. Nuovo anno pinene di divine Luce e Calore.

Check all three reference sites and let us know which one you think it might be. John1

Check varietyvista.com and compare your to those there. It must match all the pictures of a certain DDO to be one. If yours is not there, then it will almost certainly be Die Deterioration Doubling, Machine Doubling, or some other non-error.

Of course I checked CCF, then went to USA COIN, found the D and 5, which are very similar, but I'm not seeing it in "Liberty" or " We Trust" coin they have highlighted? Still stumped on the DD's. I can see some of them, but others, as represented in #coops home, some I'm still trying to differentiate? Guess I just don't have that knack?

Quote: Guess I just don't have that knack Nice expression. In order to determinate any DD DDO DDR is needed focus photos. What you see do not mean what we see. What the members told yo it is not bad, It is a good point to go for your coin. If you want more elaborated expertise is needs focus photos of the parts you ask. It is hard to go trough the variety and errors in the begin. Just follow this small step of focus photos and you will understood. Che Azzuri vince!

Very helpful! I will get the gray card! I do put my camera on top of a Bath & Body candle (which is 5-6) apart in macro mode. It's getting a little better. I wanted the new IPhone 13, but they were out and I couldn't wait! I got the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. It does have the Pro and other features, but still trying to figure that out!
Your pics are great and I can see a big difference. Thanks for sharing. New location, new lighting and a new camera... The $10 candle did help with the shakiness. I do have a ring light with the remote that has the shutter, so may get that out to see if that helps any?
Thanks for sharing!

Ring light is not recommended for coin photography. Only one direct light source, filtered. John1

Thanks @JOHN1! I was actually thinking about the holder and shutter for the perfect pics. Not the lighting.
Can you see anything on this coin? I've looked on Varietyvista.com as suggested, I'm thinking it's the first one mentioned?
I'm a beginner, so not sure about the M- 001qr- ... I'm still new... Just asking? You think it's a match? Thanks!

I asked last 2 posts about filtering, and was told no filters? You're saying to filter? Which one?

John1 is talking about a basic lighting filter, defused light. Defused light can cut through the glare your shiny coins gives off. Try a simple piece of white paper over your lighting source, or try using daylight. We really need a closeup of the date and mintmark. If you can't do that, you'll have to use the reference sites, and don't forget about die markers.

Getting my camera on my new phone to cooperate a little now! Hoping this pic will help in identifying if this is a DDO? Thanks for looking? It's looking good to me, just not seeing in the "In God We Trust"? But the "5" and the MM look legit and DD'd?
