ahh the famous Lincoln as a merman error lol. People have to much time on there hands, just sitting around deforming coins.

Start of a "Hobo penny"? Or maybe they were trying to lift Lincoln off the coin and put him on something else. Very gruesome indeed. Should bring it out on Halloween.

Could be. The only other I didn't post is just a double series of dots around both faces. Not super fun or interesting. Only about 400 coins left in the bag so limited chance to find any more of these from that collection.
