1976-D Yellow Tone Dime With Possible Errors.

Sullisoul New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 01/04/2022 12:30 am Found a coin in the jar that stood out because of the yellow tone.. almost a dull gold. It also has a pattern imprinted along the rim. Rim is also showing copper on the face of the rim. Anyone have any info? See anything? Thanks in advance!! We've seen similar coins posted on the forum. In all my years of collecting I've seen a few still contained in 'damaged' mint cello packaging with those rim grooves. Just a damaged coin even though it happened at the mint before it was released, but as mentioned it is a mechanical damage caused by roller machine,but it is a good educational piece.
