1997 P Quarter - Die Break, Cud, Feeder Finger Damage- Need Diagnosis

Hi All.

I really do not know what to call the Die Break on the reverse as it could be a Cud or a Retained Cud or a retained die break, just not sure what to call it!

VLSD on this coin but below the tail on the reverse looks like finger feeder damage. Lamination? on 'L' in Pluribus that looks like it extends to the beak.

Oh and it looks like Washington is smoking but it is just not crack, lol.

All comments and opinions welcome.

I went to the website and still am not sure....I want to sell this one for my friend who died (and it benefits the son) so I would like the CCF diagnosis...I have to say I have a few more coins I am going to post for the same reason.

Looks like a possible struck through debris on your coin. A possible struck through rim bur that didn't fall off, but moved. That is what your seeing.

The close up on "ED STA" looks like a retained struckthrough rim burr to me. Second Coop's opinion.
