Just to be clear though, are you asking about the black gunk on surface emanation from the Lincoln Memorial or the doubling of AMERICA? That doubling looks like DDD to me. Thanks a lot guys.im really glad of it. @spence what do you think about the black gunk on the surface? Do you think it's gonna affect much about the value of the coin? It is just part of the minting process when Dies start to get worn. The black gunk will not affect the value as it is still only worth 1 cent with or without it.
