Hello, how come nobody is mentioning anything about the date on the coin? Just curious.

I vote a date of 1960-D, where the 0 in date took a crazy post minting hit of some kind, and pushed the metal around

The coin suffers from post strike damage. Copper, being relatively soft, is somewhat easy to displace/reshape when hit. In this case, the 0 in 1960 took a hit, and subsequent circulation has added to the distortion. Might be a fun curiosity to hold onto--for fun, certainly not profit.

I think that it is a 1961 D and the 1 got hit to form the 'c' shape.
othere than that , I see post mint damage all over the coin. The neck area could be a result from improper polishing.

Miner doubling? As in someone hit it with a pickaxe? Yes, it does appear to be that kinda post mint damage.
