1973 P Penny Red, Grade?

It was advertised as a proof for like 2 dollars. No proofs were made then from Philadelphia that I could find. I bought it just to look at it because of the red tone. What do you think? Even though it is shiny a bit, but doesn't look proof to me.

You are correct, a proof would have a S mintmark. AU58

Yes, not a proof. Nice coin, but falls around AU58--given the photos posted.

Not a proof and robbery at $2. The picture are too small for an accurate grade.

AU63 because the size of the photos you really cant tell if its AU or MS. definitely not prooflike. someone is huffing and puffing

I hate agreeing with everyone , I rather come up with something on my own but in this case your coin is not a proof and maybe I'll bring it down a notch to AU-62 .
