In my 2nd box of Lincoln's gone through (these 2 boxes were truly unsearched ), this oddity popped out which I have a high probability of it being a post mint damage event, but there is a nagging feeling of a legit issue. If it is a real mint error, then would this be extra high striking pressure causing a PIDT mirror of Lincoln on the reverse and those concentric rings on the obverse? Not to mention the rim is arced into a C shape. I know there are legit scratches on both sides here that appear unrelated to what else I see. I am not sure how a PMD event could create the appearance I observe?

The rim issue might be from this previously being an Encased Cent.

Indeed, post-strike damage. May have passed through a poorly aligned vending machine back in the day. Too, may have been encased at some point in its life.
