@qc, first welcome to CCF. Second, it sounds like you are saying that the toning on this coin makes the image seem to move while you rotate the coin. Of course we can't see that with still shots, but I'm quite sure that whatever is causing this is not something that happened at the mint.

Agree with Spence.

Value is a solid 25 cents. You might find a collector who really likes interesting toning, and might give you a dollar or two for it. Given the photos posted, I'm not seeing the 'holographic' character of the coin.

Just simply exhibits a cartwheel luster that one would expect on an uncirculated coin.

Good example of cartwheel luster, but only worth 25 cents.

Interesting but only face value.
There is some slight rainbow color, accented by the cart wheel luster.
A color interference is sometimes set up, much like a thin oil slick on water.

Till now I know that only Canada produce Hologram coins for business strike. Chart Wheel effect it is another thing and is due to the die polishing, etc. Then on circulated coins, the carth wheel effect will dissipate. But this is, in the last time more and more coins which I doubt, (not this one) come here with big pseudo error and variety and in fact I question if has keep the face value. Time change and the facts and the science is not any more the an factor.
