So is this a DDO on the date and on liberty and the D mint mark? Or is it just a large date. On the reverse it looks like the wheat part is sticking out his tongue. But there are some weak printing. Is it due to wear and tear?
@dqu, for sure not a tongue but rather a gouge--there are a few of them on the rev, but that one is the largest. As to doubling, it would definitely help if you could provide close-up images of these regions. Also, you current pics are a little soft, so please be meticulous with your focus adjustment. Thx.

The bottom of the '6' is a broken hub issue: Several dies were created with the broken hub issue on the dies that year. Some are varieties, some are not. It is a marker that can be on either type of dies.
