Always supply a clear photo of both sides of the coin when making inquiries.
It could be numerous things and without good photos, there is no way of telling.

Not valuable, it is called a Partial Grease Filled Die which is fairly common.

not rare, but probably worth saving as a novelty, especially since it looks to be in a high grade

Looked like the area around the saddle was affected, but here is how much die polishing alters the dies on that area:
