 , it might be a good idea to post a picture of the reverse. This date could have the ultra rare last 8/7; there are pictures around that can show you what it looks like. Gradewise a F-15ish, it retails about $24.00ish, and dealers and collectors would probably pay around half that or less.

Yes, Indian Head cent. Appears to have been cleaned at one point long ago. Reverse pic would be fun to see.

I asked in the title. Is it a basic Indian head coin. It appearred to me that there might be something under the last 8 in certain light conditions.

You bet there are; Snow has 35 listed (not including proofs). Therefore we'll need a larger and SHARPER image of that area. Current images are not focused well enough.

I'm having trouble keeping the images sharp using the linked image site when I reduce them to under 300kb. Any suggestions of a way to post them at all full resolution.
