2007 D 1cent Memorial Error

I haven't had much luck posting finds I thought were errors or a variety. But I think I got one finally. It's not in the best condition and I don't even know the cause of it or what you call it. Why would the extra memorial be backwards. The word unum is backwards that doesn't really make no sense to me.

@derf, it looks to me this is an example of someone gluing Two Cents together and then pulling them apart, leaving behind the residue with the impression of the missing coin (not a mint error).

Agree, it's a glue issue--or at least something sticky--which held two coins together and left an imprint once separated. Soak the coin in 100% acetone and it's highly likely the reverse feature will disappear.

If the text is inverted, it isn't a mint error. Could be a vise job, where two coins are squeezed together.
