It's a BIE die chip on obverse, and a small die chip on the wheat stalk on the reverse too

Dearborn hopefully my forum friend, you always help me, much appreciated. I know there are BIE collectors on here and I went to the BIE error book to see if I could match it up? I didn't see it? I had been noticing that when I looked for RPM's or BIES there were pictures of other identifying markers for that particular coin. Did I say that right? Anyway, I noticed a die chip on the wheat stalk (I think that's how you say that also) I am trying to learn the lingo so the coin police don't get me. You always help grade! Thanks. Old farts take care of each other, and young farts should take care of old ones. Either way always appreciate you. Members like you make the hobby fun.

You have a full BIE die chip, 57P-4F+ in the Hardy Index System. The BIE Handbook, Hardy Index, list 193 1957 LWC BIE's, while Cohen Lists 98 of them. Cohen lists 57-B580 on page 65 with a die chip marker on the lower left wheat. Very nice BIE.
Hardy Index System : Cuds on Coins (cuds-on-coins.com)
This BIE is not listed on Cuds on Coins.

Keep in mind they may have the earlier/later die state of these already listed. The chip continues to worse as the dies age. The listings could be repeated differently during the die events that happen to a die. At least the one with the mintmarks can be determined because of mintmark locations. But with the Philly dies, these are missing because of not having a mintmark. Each chip can be changed by the next chip that rolls off the die. (thus they are not an exact science, but a die event that is happening to the die in progress until the dies retirement) Your BIE may be a different die event that hasn't been listed yet?

BINGO, exactly where I was looking. These are all BU just opened roll this morning. I have three. I will send to TX to my forum friend. I am sure he doesn't need all three. Do you have one in BU condition. I will gladly send you one. I hate the darn things. I did notice you have a lot of different BIES posted, obviously you collect them. If this is one you need in BU condition, let me know. Free of charge!

But keep in mind the same die marriage doesn't exist during the opposite dies marriage. Just depends on the die state matched up during the second/third die marriage. On your coin it looks like it could be from the first die marriage, or a close die state match up on a second die pair. (Just explaining options that could happen)
