Hello from Washington State fellow coiners.... Out of some pocket change I came across this 1996 P quarter with a possible die crack that runs through the R in LIBERTY. What do y'all think? Are you seeing what I'm seeing? Thank ya'll for any help...

. Looks like a die crack. Some people call them a spike head.

Your coin is close buy not exactly. If you send pictures to Cuds they'll (probably ?) list it as new find.

I used two you your images for two different subject for my educational files:
For the die crack:

The other ones on how to tell raised and incuse areas, noting the light to show the differences
