Hello everyone, just looking for some feedback. Does this quarter have a DDO or is this Machine Doubling? It's missing it's rim and much of the design on the reverse as well.

It looks like there are abrasions on the surface, so I would say the overwhelmingly likely answer is just PMD, however, with such poor photos its difficult to completely eliminate the unlikely possibility of a tapered planchet.

Your looking in the wrong areas for the DDO's/DDR's on the post 1999 quarters. They are now in the centers of the design. Check the sites where to look for the doubled dies. (save your years) On the areas you are looking at are where you find die wear and Machine Doubling. (Think centers of the designs)
