Sorry down sizing the pics really didn't do well for my pics! But you can see I was looking at this sweet Ridge Ring it almost gives the the top phrase a spooky font! But that's not what I'm here for it's the reverses letters in the rim from about 3o clock all the way down to 6 o'clock. How does this happen? First time seeing this for me! Thanks in advance!!

I'd say it's a brokage, it's where the coin got stuck on the die and struck already struck coins leaving indentations from the other coin. Just Google penny brokage. Hope this helps

Hmm, that is very interesting, I see that reverse lettering on the obverse rim, but others will probably chime in here.

Note the rim is the only thing affected. The devices are all mirrored. So it was transferred from another coin. (very carefully)

So are y'all thinking this is fabricated/(vary carefully) placed? Or a brockage? If you hold another coin in the imprint and squeeze it is only the rim that makes contact bc the two are not perfectly centric and with one rim over hanging the press point don't allow full facial surface contact.

Unless you can explain how that could happen during the striking
of the coin (I can't), then the only alternative is damage ( PMD)
