Can't find alot of info on BIEs so not sure if they happen other places. Or without being between 2 things. Next to E is what appears to be an I or at least something. I think it looks painted but others didn't. But even if it is, the shape whatever it is looks to have already been there. Tried to show how perfectly straight and spaced it is with the E. 2nd pic shows the few rings inside the O of ONE that I could only get at that angle sorry it's crooked.
Also under A of STATES, don't know if the crack going to small hole with tiny cracks off it is damage or not. And the torch tips are probably damage but there is something that I can't quite seem to show in pic that looks like it isn't. Pics also of other side that doesn't look painted. And edge pics

BIE's refer to die chips on Lincoln Cents involving letters in LIBERTY.

The lines on the reverse are from die wear.

I had thought that but if the little info I find there is quite a bit of things that claim to be in other coins so I really just didn't know for sure. So then what would that shape there be? And idk much about die wear. Are you talking about marks that I thought were paintbrush marks?

Still learning basics of most everything really. I look at all the things from experts and I don't see it. I just don't see the difference in most of it really. Or how in the world you know damage from error when marks look same. If I didn't want to learn so bad I'd give up. I have focus problems from seizures and seizure meds, and I do that alot. But I'm really interested in this. So any help is appreciated. I'd love to stop making so many embarrassingly hilarious posts lol.

Your coin is suffering from a worn die issue. BIE's are mostly on Lincoln cents. It is a die chip in a certain area on the cent that gives it that name. A die chip can happen anywhere on any coin.

Yes a coin struck from a worn die absent other interesting defects is not special. With regard to the potential die chip, can you please indicate which letter E you are talking about? I'm not seeing what you are with the coin in hand and therefore need a little clarification from you. Thx.
