FYI an "error" is more of a 1 of 1 coin. Where as what you are showing us, we would call a "die state" due to the condition the die is in and can repeat the effects seen on your coin over and over again until the die is retired (changed out with another one). As far as 3 from the same roll, I've had a few runs with cracks and chips up to 8 and 11 in the same rolls...neat to see how the chips/cracks progress from coin to coin.

Great photos by the way...

. Looks like you need to filter your light source.

Yes die chips, (In the other topic, I said damage) but it was late and I was tired. so Yes die chips. But not errors, these are called die 'events'

Die chips, yes. As noted above, not a minting error.

This is not the same coin in the other topic. The pictures above are from 3 different nickels.

So I see in the LMC topics these die chip coins come up as popular and collectible keepers. Is that not the same for nickles?
Rest in Peace

I think the focus of this batch is the chips, but that N has a hit. I also see Machine Doubling going on.

Collectibility of chips is somewhat subjective. Unusual chips, due to location, size and/or shape, likely draw relatively more interest.
