Curious as to how you think this semi-key date seated grades. I have included a few close ups of the reverse & not sure whats going on with the E as it doesn't look like a scratch. My guess is vg-8 with an old cleaning and edge dings.

I'll go against the grain a bit and say it just makes VG10.

VG-8. Underrated date. I'd get it certified if it were mine.

Nice coin, unfortunately I would say VG-details due to the rim dings on reverse and the damage on the obverse left arm and staff. The damage is not that noticeable but all of it combined would possible detail it. I would not mind this coin in my collection.

The rim dings and small hits are minor and I don't think they add up to a details grade.

A full LIBERTY doesn't seem to be a requirement for a VF grade on some Seated coins, much less for Fine. I wouldn't be surprised by a straight F-12 grade for this pleasing coin.

Surfaces look promising to me. I think it is at least F12, and maybe F15 on a good day.

I'm at a split grade. VG-08 obverse, F-12 reverse. Net grade VG-10.
