2016-P-Jefferson-Nickel-Error

I saw that a community member posted in 2017 this same nickel that I found. It is a 2016 P Jefferson nickel with a 90 degree rotation, die chip going from eye to Truth, and the E on the reverse.

Just wondering if they had there's verified?

to the CCF

You are only showing a picture of the reverse which shows a die chip.
A die chip is not considered an error.

die chips can make a fun collection, there are many made within the past 10 to 20 years from which to choose

But in the long run, they are just a die event and worth just face value. To a seasoned collector, they are not something they want to see on a variety coin, as it is just a distraction to what he/she really wants to see. Same for DDD, extreme die wear and Machine Doubling. With a side issue, they are in less demand and are considered a problem coin, to a real collector. For me, I prefer earlier die states. They are the more true design, with all the die/striking events issues.

Newbie234 posted this in 2017, just wondering what information he found out about it and whether he had it graded?

if that obverse is the same coin, that's a struck through error, which typically is more prized than a coin with die chips, but IMO collect whaever appeals to you, that makes the hobby fun
