This nickel looked weird in my photos and has bothered me because it seems to be made from a different alloy than the other nickels of the same era. Is this a Henning Nickel in your opinion? Weight is 4.8 grams. Thank you in advance and I've kept looking like you've said for me to do. Have a nice afternoon coinc community.

It looks like a regular Philly mint Nickel. What is the weight? didn't notice you had already mentioned that.Definitely not a counterfeit Henning.
You can buy an uncirculated one on ebay for $4.00

Hennings are overweight NOT underweight and like Dearborn says there is no loop in the "R".

looks normal to me, maybe a bit of alloy grain or roller lines on the obverse
Rest in Peace

Not all Hennings had the loop on the R . Some 1944 Nickels
without the MM are an example .
