I don't want to ask but by Any chance is this a DDO or DDR. I just saw a1965 on ebay with a big Cud where this coin has the beginning of a retained die crack. Plus it has alot of other cracks. How would you try and figure out a price on I'm curious

@derf, while 1965 was a loooong time ago, I think that this thread isn't a great fit for our ancients and medieval subforum.

Kidding aside, I'll get this moved over. The die cracks are quite nice on this example, but the circulation wear hurts the value I think.

(not that long ago - I remember running my army men over with my match box cars in my sand box...)

but that aside...
I see a few die cracks on the reverse, I also see a well worn quarter. I would suggest that you go to ebay and search the sold listings for quarters like yours with die cracks to see what they sold for. That will give you an idea of its worth and demand for such a coin.

I was a sophomore in High school that year. It was the year the silver coins were disappearing. That was the year the dances started getting more enjoyable, because of the change of the music venue. I started my job carrier that year. Got my Driver License that year (15). Second year on the Wrestling team, made first strong that year. (112 LB class) So it still seems like yesterday to me.
